Hey all sorry I have been neglecting things here a bit there hasn't been alot to report from my end unfortunatly. It's good to see your all fanning out and in serch of information. Narninaweb is where it is happening for me at the moment. Sorry to say there isn't a lot going on apart from that. I am waiting on a list of goodness that will have the cast or possible cast and some other goodies on if from my friend... I don't know when he'll send it though :P

I know exactly what you mean Pshawn. NarniaWeb has really helped me formulate some thoughts and opinions about this production and solidify what I want to get out of it. It's also allowed me to talk with some really great people and read fantastic information. It's definitely a good place to go if you're wanting to talk about various aspects of the movie or just want to wade through rumors, discussions, and polls. Anyway, thanks to everyone here who has contributed to and lifted up the hopes of those on the "outskirts of in". If you want to get a whole load of information go to NarniaWeb. I thought that this place was really a great treasure of information, but NarniaWeb is really packed.

If you'd like to find out about being part of the crew for the Movie (crew, but I'm sure about casting) try emailing Film NZ or NZ Film, they're two separate film companies in New Zealand but one of them (I forget which one) was quite helpful.

It is disapointing to see that this site has really really slowed down. I think it is due to the fact that everybody transferred over to "NarniaWeb". If anyone has any information about where to go for auditions or how the casting is going to turn out (I know we have asked this before) be sure to post it. God Bless!

Hollywood superstar Nicole Kidman has been signed to star in a new movie version of CS Lewis' classic children's novel The Lion The Witch And The Wardrobe. Studio bosses at Disney - who are backing the project - were desperate for Kidman to play the White Witch, and her two kids with ex-husband Tom Cruise, Isabella, 11, and Connor, nine, convinced her to say yes. A Tinseltown source says, "Nicole's kids don't pay great attention to her career - she's just mom to them. But when she mentioned she had been asked to star in the movie they went wild. They even asked for jobs as extras." Kidman even made a secret visit to New Zealand last week to see locations and meet the crew. Walt Disney chairman Richard Cook recently said of the movie - which is due to start filming later this year - "It's a very, very ambitious project and one that we believe could be very important to the studio."

News on the Nichole kidman front. The article you quoted was corrected. She was being considered for the part. she had not signed!!! I rang my friend and asked him and he avoided answering. I think it is still up in the air and will be announced officially who it is shortly.

some lady came to my school today and filmed a couple of kids as possilbilites for the children in the film. however my drama teacher selected the people in my year at random and me and my friend that love preforming and acting didnt get the opportunity to audition so if anyone knows where we can openly audition that would be great.

Not much new to announce. Life on the narnia is very quiet but behind the scenes it is getting very busy with all the last minuite things being locked in for a June start to shooting. Fingers crossed we'll have more news soon!
