i love the fact that this movie has a takes different perpective on life. its great, but if you only watch half of it, you're going to be so confused.

Brilliant film that deals with the age old inquiry that is the mantra for the new millenium: what is real? What is consciousness? What if this (life) is but a dream?

A must use for Film Classes....

Does anybody know who and what song is playing at the end of the film as Tommy boy jumps off the building? Is it Sigur Ros? The song is just so beautiful and haunting and I don't know what it is. I don't wanna buy the soundtrack since I already own the Radiohead and R.E.M. songs. I might end up buying it though, if it's only on the soundtrack album.

i really loved the movie, and the whole idea behind it.it's true that it was confusing most of the time, but,in the end when all clears up,you feel some kind of pleasure getting it all...
the acting was very good in my opinion.i don't realy remember the soundtrack, but i guess i should watch it one more time, and pay more attention...

how can Cameron Crowe, the person who directed Jerry Mguire, make a version of Open Your Eyes... so boring? oh, Mr Crowe: you just had to copy shot by shot the original movie... :P it would be much much better than this... ¿thing?.

I Absolutely loved vanilla sky i have it on DVD and its a movie you can watch over and over again. Tom Cruise is to suited to this role because hes so arrogant at the start but we see how he changes with his downfall. And how sad was Cameron Diaz's charachter, i have to say i thought it was really mean when they were at the party (Cruise & Cruz!) and they were just making a joke out of her, red dress strappy shoes, the saddest girl to ever hold a martini etc . but i guess David Blaine got his commupence! and i love how he got it too, he only got into the car with her for only last roll in the sack. how typical of something his charachter would do.
