The Hulk

Forum

OK, the science of the Hulk was not explained properly in this. They showed some frogs being blown up and starfish regenerating but that doesn't explain how the Hulk can grow massively big then shrink again. When it came to looking at the Hulk's cells in the microscope the computer graphics went crazy showing cells moving all over the place, but with noone explaining technically what was going on.

Movies like Hulk and X-Men could have so much more potential if they made the genetic mechanisms more realistic. Look at Star Trek. They take time and effort to get their science right to make everything believable.

Anyway I guess this is how the comics were maybe I'm being harsh.

Long before the Tinseltown take on comic books, The Incredible Hulk was about Bruce Banner, an up and coming scientist whose genetic makeup mutated when he was exposed to a large dose of gamma radiation...which really should have killed him. After that, every time he became angry or felt hatred, he would metamorphose into a huge green behemoth with super human strength and go on a rampage, destroying whatever he felt like.

The theme of this comic was anxiety, confusion and rage...which all teenagers can associate with and therefore could relate to far more easier than Spiderman or Batman.

Well, who saw this movie then? It's not one of my favourites but at least you can't say that it isn't true to the orginal creation of Stan Lee. ^_^

Okay. I am ready to tell the world my story about this movie. It is a sad story that will make you cry when you read it, but it must be heard. The people need to know what happened as a result of this atrocity to man kind, called The Hulk.

I was having a bad day so me and my freinds went to see a movie. The Hulk was the only thing in the theaters when we went so we ended up watching it. I payed scince all my other freinds are worthless scum without jobs. When the movie began i was angry. When it ended I was an alchoholic. Ever scince this movie came out i have been going to bi-weekly AA meetings.

Damn. This movie was bad. After all. The general was right when he said the Hulk was his father's son.

About the only thing in this movie that was true to the comic book was the way the Hulk jumped to get around. I'm real glad I didn't go see this flick in the theater as it was very disapointed. I think the thing I liked best about this movie was the cameo by Lou and Stan. And where the hell was Armbruster?
