The Dark Knight

I think that this is a truly amazing Movie that has soo many different sides to it that you have to watch it more than once. The Joker (heath ledger) was truly the best "bad guy" because he had his flaws. He could die just like anyone else, where he was just human he just was excesivly lucky at times and knew how to play his cards.

I agree. Utterly brilliant film. I'm seeing it for the second time tomorrow.

i just finished watching it and i really like it a lot, i enjoyed heath more then jack. one thing that i really liked was how he was more human then in the original films. also usually when a movie is this long it gets boring and i lose attention but not this time. it was really good.

So all the comic book movies out. I think this is the best, its dark side real stand of the rest. It did not try to be a kids movie.

what exactly is so "fantastic" at/on/in this movie?
it was an accident that i watched it... it was just another experience how less story a movie needs to be sold as "good" and how many special effects it needs...

You thought it had no story??

It was good... but really irritating. They shouldn't have wasted Two Faces' character though... they shouldn't have revealed him in this movie yet.

It also really bothered me that Batman was barely even in the movie... it was pretty much all about the Joker. And I don't like how they tried to add humor to this movie, it didn't work well.

I disagree with all of that except "It was good". Although yeah, it might have been better letting Two Face survive so he could come back in a later sequel, but I think that's what they were planning to do with the Joker. Obviously they can't now.

I think Batman was in it plenty, although you are right, this film was all about the Joker.

About the humour, I think they got it exactly right. There was very little humour anyway.

Weird how much people disagree isn't it? This is one of the best films I've ever seen.

My favorite film of the year by far.

I have seen the movie twice. Really good.

It was unsettling how the Joker despite all the madness was very lucid and THAT was disturbing. Great cast even with the absence of Katie Holmes. I feel sorry for her.

I think it's one of the best Batman movies ever.

Yeah, it certainly lives up to the promise of Batman Begins.

I just saw this again on dvd (after 4 times in the theater last summer-it's just that good) and I'm amazed that I still can't pinpoint any point where the plot falls down and the movie starts to unravel and ramble on with no point. It just doesn't happen.

Would have loved to have seen even more of the joker honestly, because the character of batman-whoever the actor is-tends to remain pretty predictable and static. Ledger threw me off, in the most wonderful way.
