ok i have now seen the second one "city of angels" ........... and it sucks ass compared to the first movie......... even the tv show was better than it
as for boreanaz............ i liked the angel tv show but is the guy trying to get typecast or what? some not quite human roaming the night in black who you can shoot till you use all of GW's bullets and all you might do is piss him off.
i will finish on a positive note though........ (sorry for the change of tack) .......... the first crow was one of the best comic adaptations, and i rate it as up with the first batman film

I love the movie the crow, but before the first one i actually saw the second one....so i have grown to love them both despite the fact they really don't follow one another. I think it's safe to say that the crow is one if not the best movie ever.

I bought the special edition of the crow on dvd for my boyfriend he's always goin on about how great it is but now i found out he already has it on dvd! so im gonna watch it now, it better be as good as all you monosyllabic people say it is!

The first film is nice, I mainly admired it for Brandon's performance, and not to mention how good lookin' he was. Far more attractive with make-up on than off! Pretty cool how they were consistent with the crow theme as well, and put together a decent soundtrack. It was disappointing to learn Brandon died even before the film was released. Such a great film, just to miss all the success!

I've heard that they build some sort of city of decors (I may be wrong) for the Crow, which is also used for The Crow 2, Dark City (also from Alex Proyas) and The Matrix(1).
It is very intresting to look at scenes from Dark City, The Crow and The Matrix. You can see some decor which is identical.
Still have to see this movie though
