Not quite sure which 'the beach' film we are talking about?... Well if anyone is refering to 'the beach,by alex garland' Then I thought the book was better than the actual movie, but that's just my personal opinion. However I was a bit miffed that Richard had suddenly morphed into an American, That rather ruined it for me...hhm
