The one thing I hated about this movie, is that it gave so much info, to posers about punk. But the fact in the matter is punk isn't about some damn movie, it's a lifestyle. So untill you fuckin' posers get it, then shut the fuck up!

this movie is great
not only in the actors casting ,scenes selection ,and excellent music
it also gives the punk rock scene a nice perspective, it was just like everything else related to youth and music ONLY FASHION ,and just like fashion it started and then it ended , it sure was nice having it around.
very mature observation on what this period was really about and excellent dialogs showing that people will always be the same only fashin changes ,smart people will be smart and the same goes for jerks.
and like every fashion this one also had its casualties but that is only part of the process.

the whole movie was good ((even the part when bob died, he was so HOT)) WHAT AM I TALKING BOUT... MOST PEOPLE IN THAT MOVIE WERE FUCKIN HOT..!! the part that surprised meh was that bob died, those god damn people gave him to many pills... :(

Fuck who ever said sex pistols came before the ramones in new york, never even would have heard of the sex pistols if the ramones wouldn't have been touring in the mid to late 70's in the uk. Don't get me wrong, sex pistols are great, just give credit where its due. one of the best fuckin movies out there! I loved the fact that Matthew Lillard had blue hair in this movie. Ever since I saw this movie I've actually become more outspolen about how much people really piss me off! It feels great to not have to care what others think about me. I'm never goin back to my old dumbass ways again!
My favorite part was when Devon Sawa's character went in for the job interview.Funniest damn thing I've ever seen before.
And ever since I saw this movie I can't stop thinkin of having a badboy punk for a boyfriend! Love the Punks!

Punk "RaWk"? Please tell me that you are 1) ten years old or 2) full of fucking sarcasim. Listen.. the movie won't waste the two hours you spend watching it while jerking your dog off, but its far from being a cultural icon. Better movies out there. I suggest you look into it.

Well,everyone has so positive opinion about this movie....want to know what i think?it fucken sux
first of all,many things that were said in the movie are very far from punk(like that punk fights for chaos,and that who falls in love is poser,or even anarchy is about destruction).i mean why would u want to change something that's already fucked up(this system) to something even worst(chaos).
Punk was never about chaos neither about violence.
I also think this whole movie was designed to show why not to be punk and how are punx just another bunch of kids who don't know what to do with their lives,so they become rebels against society.even theme of the movie was "u can do more damage inside the system then outside"(crap).by becoming part of system u won't change much,or even domage system.isn't there enough damage caused by system?isn't that why we become punx and live our lives outside of system which we don't wanna be part of?which is full of shit...isn't it why we fight for change?
I must say there are also couple things i did agree with in some way.but anyway i think this movie was just another way to confuses us and to destroy our belief or simply turn it to another useless,pointless fight,so the next generations of punx is just about fashion,money and playing the government's game.
