what ???
no one's commented on this yet ?!?!
me LIKEE this movie !!!
filmed not too far away from where i live now (well, one bit of it)
i love the way
the "chartered accountant" david
the most boring and meek housemate
eventually became the
most brutal..............
strange how most of the cast
went on to bigger things
except Kiwi Kerry Fox who played Juliet..........

I can't remember when or where I saw it, or much about it at all, but I do remember that I really liked it. It was a positive surprise.

I liked this movie too, I remember a great build of tension and plot twists. I was first motivated to comment by Tchock's comment: - "most of the cast went on to bigger things except Kiwi Kerry Fox ", because, being a Kiwi I got all defensive, but a little look elsewhere shows the score of subsequent projects to date to be: -
Ewan McGregor 44
Christopher Eccleston 35
Kerry Fox 27
and the guys definitely have a higher profile, (? in proportion to number of projects) so I guess Tchock is right, but Kerry is definitely not the has-been that I initially thought the comment implied. (project ratio is v. nearly 3:4:5, strange, hmmm)
Researching this was a revelation, considering I have just found out Director Danny Boyle's next project was Trainspotting, which ranks high in my memory, and I think that's the best recommendation of any movie.
I think I must watch this again. It is strange how you can retain a high opinion of a movie seen once, yet if pressed, can recall only a few fleeting specifics & a general impression.
