this movie was cute and the songs were pretty kewl !! they had a good choice of actors

There is no more "Man" to stick it to anymore. We're all too comfortable with our lives, at least in the western world. This is why "urban"/pop music [i.e. 'let's party' music] is dominating the charts.

System of a Down are the only well known band sticking it to the Man atm that I can see [Axis of Justice]

Oh yeah the movie was really good. Jack Black bled every last Rock cliche from the Stone. The bass player was cute. [4.5 / 5 stars]

I think Jack Black is hot. I certainly enjoyed the movie. The character that Jack Black played was so like his character in the Tenacious D promos only not as xrated. I wonder if thats what he's like really.

One thing that was very good about this movie (in a way that old movies often were) is that it showed some of the 'workings' of the music concert performance. All the things that needed to be done were assigned as jobs for the different students, even those with no music talent... should be shown to high school career counsellors.

Hey I just rented this movie, and really enjoyed it. I thought the casting was great, and Jack Black was the perfect actor to play the "rocker/ substitute / deadbeat" This was a lot of fun. So if you're in the mood for a good laugh... then I'd reccomend this one.
