Learn about psychology ? Hmm.. maybe.

I think it was one of the best movies I've seen. Kind of sad, but
also kind of encouraging. Well find out yourself.

we watched this film in a psychology a-level lesson. Its such a good film, and was directed amazingly by Stanley Kubrick (we are also rreligiously fans of the shining) and Jack Nicholsons acting abilities (we like the shining).

We recommend this film to anyone- especially if you have an interest in 'The Shining' directed by stanley Kubrick and enjoyed jack Nicholsons acting abilities (he was in the one flew over the cuckoos nest as well!!!) Guess what guys......Ordely(black man) he was in the shining too!!!! and also is Scat cat in the Aristocats.
Guess what his name is...its hilarious...Scatman Crothers!!!! And also he played an important role in .......'The Shining'.....(the caretaker) he called Danny in the shining..Doc... and he is called DOC in 'Bronko Billy'

The Shining is a wicked film,...and i suppose some might say that One flew over the cuckoos nest is alright!!!
Love ya

One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest has always been one of my all time movies. Not directed by Kubrick but by Milos Foreman.
The movie is amazing. I love everything about it. It should be watched by people who ever consider filmmaking as a profession.
The score, the acting, everything about this movie is superb.
The only thing i will say is watch it.

is it a black comedy?

>>By Ted   (Monday, 19 May 2003 18:07)

once there was a small boy eating chicken out of a toilet with a herring on his head and a beaver knawing on the door

>>By yibidiyibida   (Friday, 23 May 2003 00:52)

The book is far superior to the film; I was disappointed that the war between McMurphy and Ratched wasn't built up more subtly and progressively. That said, Nicholson tears the house down; the man's a god.

Do you not all agree that a lebotomy is the most severe and disgraceful thing to put a human through. It removes the reasoning and rationale of a human and therefore the criteria that seperate us from animals. Poor old Randall Patrick McMurphy!

>>By Pies   (Tuesday, 24 Jun 2003 13:08)

Nicholson has the gift! He has it. Just look at him. He is unbelieveble. The movie is about very serious matter, though it is covered with a slight humor.
I just love this film, there is nothing more, nothing less.

(Don't read the following if you havn't seen the film) Especially : The last scene, when Indian is escaping and when he takes McMurphy with him...
"Let's go" aah unbelieveble...
