the energy of the film alone is worth watching and its hard to believe that Woody Harrelson was once in cheers, he gives a monstrous portrayal. Juliette Lewis is one of the most talented actresses around and the opening scene with her dancing then beating up a drunk was extraordinary, Robert Downey Jr gives quite possibly the most insane and kinetic performance i have ever seen and Tommy Lee Jones looks like he's on drugs. Tom Sizemore defines the true corrupt cop pig. Stone's most powerful film and one of cinema's most brutal and controversial. i love this movie

we are finish loving to the killers...and the movie say: you are a natural born killer, this it signifies: you are a human

Juliette Lewis is one of the most talented female actors and in my opinion comes across very sexy, even tho she isnt the ideal american girl.

Natural Born Killers is the most romantic movie ever made. My ex and I had nick names of Mickee and Maloriee (yes spelled different) Juliette Lewis is the hottest and best actresses around and the fact that she can play the roles like in Kalifornia and The Other Sister and of course all the others and can do them so perfectly and yet be so (how can I say this without it sounding like normal is anything) but yes, she can be so perfectly normal like... she is totally amazing!!! If I was a guy it would be all about Juliette Lewis.. but since I am a girl I will continue to dream about Woody Harrelson!!!

I would have to agree with the statement above stating that this is veryy romantic film. The directing and cinematography is so amazing. the dialoge between characters is very original and could never be duplicated. This movie is once and a lifetime. Never again will we see a movie with so much going on and all put together so well.

Crap Crap Crap- typical of artsy jackoffs to say this disgusting orgy of violence and hate is about art. Go look at a f-ing snuff film you sick wackos.

the movie isnt crap but Oliver Stone is a suspect character. I guess it doesnt much matter in this film in particular because it doesnt really claim to represent the truth of an actual series of events. It is an interpretation. But some of his other films make the claim of accuracy but fail miserably and instead just promote an agenda. I wonder if Oliver's agenda in this film was to justify his feelings of a murder he committed earlier in life. Hopefully.

This movie is total crap. Flobbed up by Stone. I am a fan of the violence and such, but the way the film was shot was...yes...crap. tilts, gels...did i say tilts? More than half the damn movie is shot in a dutch tilt....if its not the tilts, its the gels, oh look! Pretty colours! For those of you who have taken a film class, you will understand why this movie is total garbage.

Basically this whole film is Stone saying " Oh, Look what I can do with a camera! Wheee! "

If you -have- to see this film.....if you are -forced- to see this film, demand the Directors Cut, the great amounts of violence is the only thing that holds this film together.
*Pats Oliver Stone on the head for the Directors Cut*
So yeah, watch it for the violence, and not for any other reason.

As for this film being romantic? I dont know what the hell you people are talking about...
A romantic movie would be...True Romance. Written By Tarantino and Directed by
Tony Scott. NBK had potential, but Oliver Stone f*cked this one up.

Shame on you Tarantino, for letting Stone get his hands on NBK.
And shame on Paul Anderson, for making Resident Evil and AvP.....There is no way we can forgive you for AvP.

uhm,quiet-kid,i am sure Oliver would be very amused by the condecending tone you have towards him and the movie, ahahaha,if you think that he just can's make a proper movie, you're wrong.but, you see,the movie was meant to look the way it does, you know...the camera swinging, and all the misery around!that was the idea!
anyways,i think the movie is great!!!a piece of art:)))))
i loved the way the scenes with Malories family were made-you know-kind of like a comedie show.i think that was a very good idea!you know, cause you don't know wheter to cry or to laugh from that fucked up reality...
and,i actually think(like some others here) that it was a very very romantic movie!it was just...adorable watching that couple!they were so meant to be together!they just fitted perfectly!
aaaand,what can i say about the acting-flawless!

>>By Eli_Molko   (Monday, 4 Oct 2004 20:44)

quiet kid. youre obvious a film sudent, cos all them that i know dont know dick either. NBK is all about disorientation of facts, and reality. it is like flicking channels to see a candid version of a reality. it is our only window on the world, the tv, and it bends the facts this way and that way. stone got it so right.
you stick to van damme you young fool.

Mickey: Turn left? Turn left to what you stupid b*tch?

Mallory: You stupid b*tch? You stupid b*tch? You stupid b*tch? Mickey, that's what my father used to call me! I thought you'd be a little more creative than that!

Haha, love isn't always pretty.

>>By MendLe   (Tuesday, 1 Aug 2006 22:10)

this film is epic
and true romance
does anyone recommend any others like this?

>>By l u i s a   (Thursday, 12 Jun 2008 21:07)

ahhh, true CRAP. I think I needed to be stoned to watch this waste of time garbage. It was soooo bad I had to shut it offf half way thru. I couldn't take the torture. I'd rather have root canal done then sit through this agonizing eye sore.

>>By coca   (Thursday, 26 Mar 2009 20:59)

I tend to agree with Coca. There was so much violence in this film, it was just gruelling to sit through. The general excuse at the time seemed to be some need to present comic-book style violence with real characters.
Why, for heavens sake?!
If we have to have this type of violence, just leave it in comic-books instead of spreading it further.
