Only two comments? Just rewatched this on TV. Great to see early work of Toni Collette & Rachel Griffiths. I remembered the humour, but had forgotten the serious plot elements. I just keep seeing Toni Collette's goofy mindless mugging as Muriel. A lovely character study, sorry if you don't get some of the Aussie humour, still worth watching.
