Used to have this movie on video tape. Great movie. kept me and friends entertained.
If you like Fantasy/Sci-Fi, then you will probably like this one. Will lave you feeling good inside. Chick who plays TELA
is pretty hot looking too. Skeletor, is evil and his power is shown in his keep.

No doupt one of the greatest films of all time. A real epic which is my overall number 1 film of all time. Dolph Lundgren performance is outstanding and Skeletors performance is a masterstroke of genius.
Why did this film not win 'Best Picture' at the Oscars?

Special effects are unbelievable and the whole story of the fight againest evil makes The Fellowship Of The Ring slip down to 2nd place of the greatest films of all time.

Masters of the Universe is one of those really weird movies. You know its really bad, the script is awful, the dialogue stunk and the acting is.. err interesting, but something unexplainable makes you watch it and love the movie. Some of the special effects were awesome. It has Courtney Cox in and I'll be damn but Evil Lyn is strangely entertaining. What is it about this movie that makes you love it so? I do not know. All I know is whatever you do, that fail skeletor.

I'm starting to wonder if those responsible for the MOTU movie weren't watching the She-Ra cartoon instead! The whole She-Ra origin story involves a portal between worlds. Compare the apalling Skeletor make-up with chief She-Ra baddie Hordak's face, the movie version of Beast Man with the She-Ra supporting baddie Grizzlor (at least i think that was his name) and the movie Teela with the She-Ra supporting character Glimmer. And while you're at it, ask yourself why the movie Grayskull is the same shape as She-Ra's Crystal Castle. hmmm.....
And another thing - why is He-Man wearing a cape?
