This is really one of the most beautiful movies I have ever seen, A real masterpiece. Full of tragicomic surrealistic symbols. A cow falling from an airplane and killing the bridegroom during a wedding ceremony. It is like a fresh cool wind after all the overkill of mediocre Hollywood productions thrown out over us year after year.
A love scene so mysterious I have never seen before.
A Russian movie filmed in Central Asia. I cannot remember the name of the director, Unspeakable for me. A very interesting interview with him as a feature on the DVD. The Russians are masters in story telling.
