Hi,
What does anybody think about the film? Do you think that a novel would be cool too?

I thought the movie was really good. I am a 15 year old and i could totally relate to the main character. Hopefully the novel is as good as the movie.

I loved the film, I can relate to the main character as well. I watched it 3 times and there is still one question that I can't seem to figure out so mabe someone here can help me out. In the movie we find out that "Gary" is gay right. He sort of tells us that he likes "Howie" when they are at the camp fire. Now later Howie watches as Gary is going to the bathroom at the tower thing. Ok are we supposed to imply that Howie is gay as well, but does not want to lose what friends he has? Mabe b/c he lost his mother and he does not want to tell his friends in fear that he may lose them as well? Please help if you can thanks :.)

it was still original, not many movies address topics like those.

Jay Bird,

Gary is not gay. He si more gay for pay. Howie, however, is gay we know that when he ''stimulates himself' to the images he had just seen at Big John's house. We know Gary is gay for pay when we see [behind a board] someguy with his pants down; then he pays Gary.
