Oh yeah by the way I and about every one else who watches the show should know that alucard is dracula backwards. Also vanhelsing is not based on hellsing at all, sorry for any confusion...............uh.....bye....

hellsing is ok. i mean, alucard is a badass and so are a select few other characters. the only dissapointing thing is that you always have to wait for alucard to come into the fight and finish it off. i think it was way to expected and obvious. the plot was also horrible. it didn't go into in sort of depth on any of the characters background. hopefully they'll come out with a season 2 or even better and ova. but my thoughts on that are highly unlikely. the movie helsing is due out may 7, 2004. it looks pretty good but i can't find much on it. here's the website for it.........http://www.vanhelsing.net/main.html

hey, has anyone who's seen the hellsing preview/trailer listened to when he's telling seras to 'follow him into the darkness' and all that shiznat? b/c when he actually tells her to follow as far as she can, it sounds like he's talking slovak/romanian rather than japanese. i dunno...maybe it's just me but LISTEN to that part...it doesn't sound as if he's talking in japanese...i think it would be cool if they had him talking romanian. good show of character ;)

So there is going to be a 2nd season, and the moive Van Helsing isn't about hellsing.So does anyone know if there is going to be a moive about the anime? And is the manga a lot better than the anime?Will someone let me know the date on which season 2 comes out.

Ok....some people were saying earlier that there was NOT going to be a season two....I like how they supported their argument by citing facts and ideas.....anyway....if all the footage was from season 1, then what about the ending? Hmm? Where the man shrouded in white light is clapping with the two ominous bodyguards....hmmm, maybe I watched the series 3 times and just missed that part...oh wait, I didn't. Yes, there will be a season two, or it may very well be a movie. Whatever it is, there will be a continuance. Don't be a dumbass and come on here without proof ruining everyones hopes. Nice try.

Alucard, is Dracula. Simple as that. Bram Stoker's Dracula that is. Bram Stoker's Dracula was based on Vlad Tepes, also known as Vlad Dracula, and also known as Vlad the impaler. (Final shot of Incognito, impaled on a spike). Bram's Dracula was Romanian. Therefore the words you heard WERE in fact Romanian. Also the symbols on Alucard's glove are old Romanian Characters, that say the same thing as the english below it. There ya go.

Its a common thing in japanese.
L and R sound the same for japanese.
Vegeta from dragonball z his attack in america is "Galic gun"
in japanese its "Garlic Gun"
It happens alot.
and it the japanese version its Arucard.
he is dracula cause you can see it once he defeats Incognito.
"Impossible... Who are you..." says Incognito.
Lightning flashes.
and then you see Alucard to the left of his face and dracula to the right.
the L and R thing its amazingly common.

Hi all, ok for this name thing alucard is right about the pronouncition... but the fact still remains the a few of the Charicters have more than 1 name Like ( Alucard Arucard and Arkard) (Seras Ceres) and now for a question in one of the Episodes Titeled "The Red Rose Vertigo" who is vertigo is it INCOGNITO or sam the naked dude?!!?

OK Alucard backwards is Dracula....bvius to a first grader. The manga rocks and the new season or OVA will do what the first season of Hellsing couldn't......go into the details of what exactly Hellsing Organization does. (I can't tell you and ruin the surprise now can I?) As for the infamous "trailer" buy or rent the FIRST volume of the Hellsing DVD's and look it up under "extras" (it's labeled "Hellsing music video" but its really a trailer). I haven't the slightest clue when it'll come out but it fills in the gaps between the manga and the anime. It even goes and re-does parts of the original anime (shown in trailer). I will divulge one little secret though.... The midget in the chair and the two guys behind him in the trailer are nazi's with the powers of darkness and the true force behind the freak chips. I think that the trailer is actually a promo of stuff they didn't put into the first series, not an ad for a series 2. I mean, I want a second series as much as anyone, but I'm starting to wonder if they'll make one. I've heard that they are waiting to finish the manga for the second series, but the anime doesn't really go along with the manga.

Oh, and I believe that someone asked why Alucard didn't bite Integra? Here's my theory:
Y'know that "control art system" thing he keeps talking about before killing someone? Cromwell Approval and all that? I think that Integra controls that. Although he likes Integra, I believe, I'm pretty sure that if he tried anything she could jack him up pretty bad with that.
Integra: Alucard! What are you doing? Bite me, huh?! Contrl art restriction system to level 99, fool!
