GWTW is definately the most entertaining movie of alltime !!!! The whole cast is great and Vivien Leigh gives the BEST EVER performance by any actress in a movie.

I've watched this film more than a few times. Clark Gable and Vivien Leigh are brilliant in their respective roles. I always laugh at Rhett saying "as a gentleman, Tom, why certainly" and "I have a funny way of not killing people who tell the truth". Don't mind me - I have an odd sense of humour. I love this film though and never tire of it. Leslie Howard sounds a bit English though..........

This movie starred legends rather then actors -- perhaps that is the biggest differences between today’s movies and yesterday's films.

Oh my bagel!!!! I saw this the other week for the first time...and then I wanted to watch it again...and again...it's an amazing movie.
I love the casting...*clap clap* for whoever cast the actors in this film...although you're probably dead by now.
Melly's a cool character. I love Rhett's quote "She never had any strength, only heart." And Scarlett's face whenever she saw Melly with Ashley...classic. Is there a sequel? Because the movie left me wanting more.

I just watched Gone with the Wind for the first time. Phenomenal!!!! Some things stand the test of time for a reason...or several thousand reasons!

Yes! there is a sequal to Margaret Mitchell's Gone With The Wind. It is - Scarlett, a novel written by Alexandra Ripley and was adapted for a television mini-series in 1994 of the same title, starring Timothy Dalton as Rhett Butler and Joanne Whalley-Kilmer as Scarlett O'Hara. Captivating enough but after GWTW and the ilk of Vivien Leigh and Clark Gable... certainly a hard act to follow!
