"Fantasia" is a work of art. "Fantasia 2000" is good--but does not match the artistic quality of the original. The problem, as I see it, is that Walt Disney was intent on creating an art form whereas, the new executive seem only to be interested in making the almighty $.

Fantasia 2000 doesn't seem as good, mostly because it isn't as old, there's no nostalgia attached to it, and it's a sequal (sort of), which makes people compare it to the first one rather than view it in its own regard as art. Both Fantasia's were good, but they should continue with Walt's original idea and have them come out every decade or so, each time being new and fresh, and they should use some more contemporary music, Jack Stamp, or Frank Ticheli, or Patrick Burns.

Fantasia was a fixed part of my childhood.
I'd like to see it again.
The broom thing Mickey Mouse as a wizard's apprentice and he accidentally brought a bunch of broomsticks to life and they tried to kill him.
I don't remember any dinosaurs. Oh man I do want to see it again now.
