I LOVE East of Eden, one of my favourite movies. And definitely my favourite James movie. I'm a huge fan of James, this really has to be his best film. Not the one he's known most for, but I think it's so much greater. This film is lined up to be made again, which I am completely against. No one can live up to Jimmy's character Cal, it was HIS role. I just hope that whoever plays Cal doesn't try to act like Jimmy. It's such a strong and powerful role, not to mention very demanding. Good luck to whoever plays it though. It truly is a classic.
