Surprisingly, I found this movie to be very good. Im not too into this sort of movie, but Im a big fan of Johnny Depp so I decided to give it a chance. Hes such an amazing actor, he can make anything worth watching. Pachino was also great in this.

in a lot of ways this is my favorite mob movies
it does a good job of depicting how bleak
the "life" probably really is
loved the final scene when Pacino gets the phone call
to be summoned to his death
the way he leaves his wedding ring & cash on the
table and tells his wife "he'll see her later" and matter of factly heads off to be whacked
"heyyyyy................forget about it"

This is one of my favourites too. The ending is sad. Pacino has the right face for the part. He comes across as someone who is beaten down by life.
