Its sad that he is much more famous internationally than in Turkey... Let me call it Uzak which is the original title, watched by only twenty thousand people whereas in France it was Four hundred thousand :(
I am lucky enough to watch it in istanbul in a small cinema and I remember that winter when he was shooting Uzak I was in love drifting around the film's locations with my girl friend :)
