Good movie this really is the only role perfectly suited to Vin Diesil. He's cocky and can back the smack talk up other than this kind of role Vin is shabby at best oh well it worked well in this movie worth seeing

Excellent movie (4/5). Better than Star Wars (I) by far. Not convoluted. Medieval-goth meets Sci-fi. Star Trek meets Dune meets the Undead of Warcraft III. The muscle of an Arnie action flick; the humourous dialogue and wit found in the old James Bond movies. The only flaws being the combat scenes (choppy), and the annoying flickering lights. The overall movie reminded me of the craziness and workability of The Fifth Element

Fantastic movie. I was just awed by it. Great preformance from Vin and full of action. Also does not entirely fallow rules of most movies.
Just brill. in al ways 'cept for the fight scenes being a little dull.
Otherwise exciting and fun filled action.

Ace movie, although not quite as good as Pitch Black in the story. Still the effects were hot, and so was Vin Diesel. The scenes on Crematoria were the best in the film.

oh dear god i hated this and i am a HUGE vindiesel fan. Cliched script overblown effects what happened to the wisecracking antihero of pitch black. Nearly (not quite) as bad as xxx

An oh so fantastic movie, standalone and if you put it with "Pitch Black" and "Dark Fury" of which of course have all on dvd, this is a totally different movie from "Pitch Black" and you have to see that to enjoy it for what it is as a new chapter rather than a sequal - i have to disagree with you docjay about the effects they were just perfect to emerse yourself in the world of the movie.
