| Discussion: Welcome To The Dollhouse hey.. what the hell is with the end of this movie?... it sucks.. and whats it supposed to tell us anyway?.. that shes gunna be sad forever? >>By Jules i think that welcome to the dollhouse is 1 of the best movies ever. 1 of my best friend's is going to give it to me 4 my birthday. It is harsh but hilarious. My favorite part is where the family is watching the home video. They watch the part where dawn gets pushed in the pool by her little sister and they watch it over and over. Funny stuff. >>By Raen It's one of my favorite movies. I realize with it's ending, the implications are that she is doomed to pathetic and sad life...but isn't that sometimes how reality is? People don't always get happy endings. lt's a dark comedy...painfully funny at times, but it's honest...I could relate. >>By esoteryesteem Oh, and I forgot to mention, that my favorite part is when her sister runs away...and because it's just a movie, I think I'm allowed to have hoped that her sister never returned, and that she may have gotten lost in the sinful city streets never to see home ever again. >>By esoteryesteem i'm quite fond of the 'rape' scenes. they make me laugh so hard. to this day i still haven't heard of a potential rapist telling the victim the time and place ahead of time. same time, same place, you're getting raped! i love it. >>By drowninginflame You are not logged in.
