Am I the only person to think this movie kicks ass?I love the bit when the guy's father says to christopher walken that he's part egg-plant...the look in Dennis Hopper's face says it all-he knew he was dead at that point,he sacrificed himself for his son

if memory serves me right part of the dialogue in that seen involves hopper explaining to walken why he and his kinfolk (scicilian) have dark complections.

"the moors came over from africa and fucked your great-great-great grandmother"

a great scene all around as he knew he was going to be killed but let loose with a few choice verbal digs all the same.

christopher walken and dennis hopper in the same movie.
you can't go wrong
(oh yeah, gary oldham too)

The Walken/ Hopper scene was outstanding. He knew he was dead anyway,so why not fcuk with the sicilians mind! Brilliantly written & acted.

Gary Oldham was brilliant. An English guy, playing a white American who thinks he's black! Hilarious!

Really enjoyed the film, but was left with the feeling it couldv been a truly great film, think the director didnt quite pull it off. Pity Tarantino (he wrote the script ) didnt direct it himself!

ahhhh yes
me LIKEE this film
especially the scene
where hopper dies..........
yeah
although i DID know that was going to happen.........
seeing as *someone* told me first ;)
but yeah
two great actors
such a short part in the film....
that's the thing about walken though
if he's in a DECENT film
he's never in it for very long.............
great actor who just never found his feet :(:(

haha
liked the part where
slater's just come home from
shooting oldman
& alabama's crying
& says that's the most romantic thing anyone's
ever done for her
haha

& at the end
the cops come in
the bodyguards take out their guns
everyone's shouting the odds
no one's pulling the triggers
then the mafia geeks come in
on the scene
'oh shit !!!'
