is this the fabulous b/w 1968 politicosexhorror cult movie?

A masterpiece of old dark house drama and one of the funniest films ever made. Why no DVD release?

I first found Thundercrack! in a now defunct video store in Boston in the mid-eighties, and I must have rented it no fewer than 15 times!
If I must, I'll buy the vid, but I'd so much prefer a DVD. It's truly a film with something to offend everyone, no matter how jaded.
Without a doubt, it's within the top 5 of my all time favorites, and I see almost everything interesting sooner or later.

I haven't seen the movie since it was in theaters but would love to find a video.

Can anyone tell me where to get a copy (of an unedited version)?

I first saw this movie in 1975 in San Francisco at the Goodman Building. It was one of the earliest screenings, I think, and George Kuchar was there, as well as some of the cast. Some of my friends knew him from the Art Institute, which is how I found out about the screening. I didn't see it again until I rented a VHS copy of it a few years ago, but today I ordered a Dutch DVD on eBay. The Dutch DVD is only 122 minutes, and so it must be a cut version. The official DVD is supposed to be 152 minutes, but I don't know whether that is the same as the VHS version or not. The VHS version I saw did not appear to be cut. I'll review the DVD once I receive it, but that will probably take a couple of weeks. I would also prefer to have an unedited version.
