| Discussion: The Way We Were This is one of my favorite movies. I love Robert Redford and Barbra Streisand is an amazing singer and actress. My favorite scene is when he asks her if it hurt when she ironed her hair. Just his expression, it was so adorable. And I always cry at the very last scene, when they part and the song comes on again. I think it's wonderfull to like a woman and she begs you to come back, like she did! >>By peterka I must admit that ý have watched lots of films so far,and this film is one of the best film ý have ever seen.I think Robert Redford is very handsome,isn't he? And Barbara Streisand is a good actress and has a very good sound.The scene ý love the best is when Katie asks 'Would you like a cup of coffee' then Hubbell says 'Yeah,coffee,yeah'.I think they are so cute.And of course the last scene of the film,Katie touches and smoots his hair,like always she did...and the song.Greatttt!!!!!! >>By Neslihan very very very sad-----i can not stop crying! >>By barbs Its a strong character driven movie. I hate the fact that they didnt make it. The fact that they still love each other after so many years and cannot hide the pain of losing the other person, to me that is a tragedy. I liked tge film, but I will never be able to watch it again. The pain trascends the caharacters and reaches out and touches our heart.
