My parents and my brother hated it, my friend loved it and i thought it was ok. My mum got the twist and informed me of it, while i was watching the film. There were good perfomanced and i do like his films usually, but like many of u said the twist could have been alot better, and i din't like the ending.

Great movie. I didn't realize it was actually love story instead of a horror film until...well...whenever. When Lucius tells his mother "he never touches you", he is actually talking about himself with regards to Ivy! And did anyone notice in the beginning when the Elders have the meeting and talk about missing the birds? I think they might be talking about airplanes...since the ranger in the station mentioned something about not allowing planes to fly above the wildlife preserve.

it was....weird. it wasn't scary. though there was some tention, especially when Ivy was in the woods. otherwise, i very much enjoyed the love story. i didn'y enjoy the "main idea" . although it wasn't something we see everyday, it tried to go too big with its society references, and it just couldn't quite do it...at least for me. i liked it as a whole - it was interesting!

It was an interesting concept although I've gotten slightly bored of Shyamalan's movies as of late. Still though, it still is one of his better movies and even though the ending was slightly predictable, it was an enjoyable movie.
