| Discussion: The Stand The Stand has always been one of my favorite movies, and I just finished reading the book, which was excellent. One question I have though is during the movie, there is the scene where Fran and Harold are in Frans house after she buried her father and she plays a record, Id like to know what song is being played. Its a nice song, but i dont know the name of it. Its absolutly brilliant!! Stephen King is such a genius the way he can take something like that, that could really happen, and make it so interesting. All the actors in this were great, especially Stroke, Lowe, and Gamaccio (or however you spell her name). I didnt really like Harold or Fran but that just goes to show how good the actors were, to make me hate the characters.
