Discussion: The Man Who Wasn'T There

A film noir from the Coen Bros. ("Fargo," "O Brother Where Art Thou") starring Billy Bob Thornton as a barber who wants to be a dry cleaner. Along the way, he encounters troubles with his wife (Frances McDormand), her lover (James Gandolfini) and an entrepreneur (Jon Polito). Tony Shaloub appears as big-shot attorney Freddy Reidenschneider, along with Scarlett Johansson as a young piano virtuoso. It is extremely funny; a must-see if you liked any other films by the Coen Bros. It is completely in black and white, which is stunningly beautiful.
