great film fuck all the liberal elites burt reynolds is a great actor...he just chose too many stupid scripts....Stick...Heat.....Smokey 2...etc this film along with Deliverance,Shamus, and Breakin in...is a top notch production..Burt rules!!!!!

(nuthin' against adam s. --- but didn't see the remake)
also
on cable tv a while back i saw an english (as in british)
version
they filmed almost every scene verbatim to the original
only
the BIG showdown at the end was a game of ........soccer
