| Discussion: Super Mario Bros. i love the goongas : ) >>By the beast I think the SMB movie just ROX!!! I feel bad for those who don't like it, this is one of my favorite movies ever made. I rent it a whole bunch of times and watch it on TV whenever it's on. I look forward to owning it on video. The storyline dosen't exactly follow the games, but the way they did it just rocks! The only thing disappointing is they left the movie open at the end for a sequel and then never made one >>By Kestrel I really think a sequel should be made SMB2 with the characters from SMB2 (Wart,Tricylde,etc.) and the Koopa Kids, CGI versions from the games. It's gotta get a sequel someday. I mean like how this had Goombas and Koopas just like the game. and nothing ain't complete with Princess Peach. Then you know SMB3 will be based on that game. this movie ROCKS I give it a 10/10! >>By MMFan I really liked it,this is only my though,butt this one of the best video-game movie ever made! There was everything in supermariobros games:bombs,goombas,fungus, fireballs,even flowers!.Story was,i think, very close of videogame:kopa kidnapped princess,mario bros come to save her,kick the goombas asses... The acting was good: Bob Hoskins(Lost World) is one of my favourite actors,he is perfect of Mario Mario role. John Leguizamo(Ice Age) made good job as Luigi Mario. Samantha Mathis(little Women) is same time sweet and wonderfully as Daisy,i realy liked her role. Dennis Hopper(Speed) did made Koopa really bad guy(GOOD job). Fiona Shaw(Harry Potter) had little role but its work very well. There was alot action, i dont think anyone can get bored,special effects and ginematography work,and soundtrack(Various artist and good Alan Silvestri) and good action-comedy humor,what else scifi-freak like me(I loved Star Wars episode 2,4,5,6 ,Aliens and Matrix) could be wanted? Other great videogame-movies: Mortal Kombat 1 and 2(Great kickboxing fantasy-adventures), Final Fantasy:The Spirits Within(Beatiful and epic animation) and Street Figther(Like one review say:silly...BUT a lots of fun) AND dont watch Resident evil never!(a- for various artist soundtrack,f- for movie) >>By Tom Burton I really liked it,this is only my though,butt this one of the best video-game movie ever made! This movie is cooooooooool! Is one of the best movie I ever seen, with comic, action, adventure, and a cyber-punk universe, incredible! Everyone should see this movie. What was the song in the backround when Mario and the Brooklyn girls were on the goomba matress sliding down the frozen pipe? >>By Joe When I heard about this movie I wanted to like it but after I saw it, I didn't like it that much. I wish they had made it a cartoon I think it would have been a lot better. I still would want to see a sequal though. >>By Gil I think the movie stunk. it didn't follow the game or cartoons. The princess supposed to be Peach, not Daisy. Koopa's supposed to be Bowser, and he is supposed to be a Dinosaur or dragon whatever he is game. Mario and Luigi are supposedto be Italian, Luigi is suposed to have a mustache, the Mario's are supposed to wear blue overalls with red and green, shirts underneath the overalls, gloves, and brown boots. Toad is supposed to be a little mushroom dude, and last but not least, Iggy is supposed to be a dinosaur or dragon, whatever he isin the game, and spike, THERE IS NO SPIKE IN MARIO BROS.!!!!
