Despite all of the negative reviews, i found this movie very amusing. One of the best for only having a good time.

I liked the movie as a version of the book, except the way they ended it.

There were so many alterations between the movie and the book that I stopped comparing. The movie is good but not something that really struck me as much as the book.

Robert DeNiro was hilarious by the way.

It maked me sad that the role beautiful (still) Ms. Pheiffer gets must now demonize her (punish her) because she is old. Older than 40 something. Great potiential with the other women actresse, but it seemed triflish

I finally got to watch the move last week so its not soaked in yet .The mood of the movie was so dark though. MS Pheiffer was great at play an evil witch she is a stunner at her age. . The lead male i don't know him he was not bad.

Oh my, i'm showing my age now. I assumed you were discussing the 1974 film that stars David Essex!☺

I loved this movie, saw it in the theater three times! I haven't done that since...actually that might have been the first time I watched a movie in the theater three times.

I found the writing to be witty and clever, the story was fresh, and the acting was believable...except for Robert D. as a gay pirate.
