| Discussion: Singles Matt Dillon's charecter Cliff reminds me of so many men. Too cool to realize what he had, until she was gone. I really respected him for waking up and doing all that he could to try and win that hurt girl back again. I also respect her for sticking to her guns all along, and no longer tolerating his crap. Before I moved to Seattle I had seen this movie maybe a dozen or so times, and always thought it was just a cute little flick. Then when I moved here I saw again late night on HBO, and I really got into it. Maybe it was all geography after all. I knew where all the places were, I knew the nighborhoods.
