| Discussion: Running On Empty I think it is such a good movie i just saw it with a friend it is so sad. But I love >>By Esther I am a big fan of River Phoenix and am very impressed with his role. (and i'm really sorry to see him leave us so soon.) Along with Christine Lahti and Martha Plimpton, the whole cast was just perfect. Especially Phoenix. Not only is he very good looking, but he's what made the movie so good. He is a very talented actor and musician and had great chemistry with Plimpton (they actually dated for a while in the 80's). The movie was majorly sad and it really makes you think about alot. I hope the rest of the actors in the movie are doing okay and I really miss Phoenix.
