| Discussion: Rollerball the scene where the trees are being blown up to the strains of Albinoni's classic Adagio - has got to be the most brilliant metaphor for decadence that i have ever seen. Notice the screaming crowds, chanting for teams and the ritual of an anthem song. The masses are kept in check by the "bosses" by giving them their drug of choice: violence.
