I cant believe i'm the first person to start the discussion here. i LOVE this movie. I'm just gonna presume not many people have seen it because its one of my favourite films. It makes me laugh but some parts make me cry too! Mark Wahlberg is brilliant in this role & the music's great too- i love all that kind of 80's rock stuff! (i have the sound track, it rocks) Dear god please may some of u people write back i'd really like to discuss this movie with some1 who loves it as much as i do!!!

I love Rock Star because, although I’m band-less due to disabilities, I identify w/ the Chris Cole/Izzy character so much it is unbelievable…same heavy metal obsession…especially when the guitarist (forgot his name) in Chris’s SD cover band says: “Chris, you’re taking this *beep* too seriously!”

I got into that film so much that I was near tears when he left SD. I wish they were a real band. SNIFF!
