i just watched this... again....great movie..
does anyone think that the directors might be gay? all three movie are leather clad with men in assless chaps. half naked or in full bondage gear.... there are hardly and women in the films.... not saying its a bad thing.. .just curious to see if anyone notices the samething i do. or maybe it's just part of the plot,... based sometime in the future,.. maybe there is a shortage of females.????

kennedy and miller , the 2 guys who wrote and produced and directed both mad max films where actually Doctors by trade. they made a couple of small films before mad max and really did mad max to get the 150% tax deduction offered by OZ Govt at the time. they used wot they saw in the emergency rooms in the hospitals they worked as interns, ie the results of hot rodding , road trauma , the cult of the bikers and street machiners etc, all that aside there will never be 2 films like these again,
byron kennedy , i think it was him, died in a helicopter crash after making mad max 2 ,,a loss the film industry didnt know the magnitude of at the time
