Why is it that simple generic stories like this get made into movies easily, yet great stories have a harder time? Why is it so easy for these to be made? If they're this crappy, why is it so hard for so many other films to be made. A story like this must have taken a day to write. At least I didn't actually spend money on this.

I didn't bother to see it cause it sounded crappy, plus Hilary Duff's in it and I don't really like her that much.
