He was called rainman because when he was a child, his brother charile could not say Ramon, so when he said his name, it sounded like rainman.

Rainman is a great movie for those who likes a bit of emotions in movies.
Tom Cruise and Dustin Hoffman play there caracters exellent.

film student: the car was tom cruises and dustin hoffmans dads car. dustin was in a retard home when their dad dies and the retart gets 3 mill when tom goes to track down the benaficeary he goes to the home to talk to his fathers friend the head person at the home thats in charge of the money {he makes sure that the right person gets it] tom tries to get the money [to no prevail]
tom leaves and finds dustin sitting in the car and talking to tom's girl friend then dustin says that dad use to let me drive this car and then dustin says that the interior used to be red and toms says it used to be red then dustin recites his old address and tom says that was his old houses address . then dustin says their mothers and fathers names and so on . i hope that helps you out i just watched the movie today
