| Discussion: Napoleon Dynamite I like the idea behind this movie. It wasn't presented very well, though. Very dull. The deleted scences were awesome, though. I thought it was well done for being made on a very small salary. But I agree it has no real plot, just about 3 small ones. Uncle trying to go back in time to become star football player, Napoleon trying to get people to think he's cool, and Pedro trying to be elected. >>By Urbane i thought this movie was great >>By Jane i wasnt really impressed with this movie but its not the worst movie i have seen all year this is a movie you see once and dont really want to see again unless its free >>By MetalBladeRecords first time i tried to watch this movie, i didn`t even finish it... couldn`t stand the lack of plot and what-not, bad story, the awkward characters and so-on. but, the second and third time i saw it, i couldn`t help but laugh myself retarded!! and, the fact that people that i work with kept quoting lines, i couldn`t help but watch it again and again in order to keep up with the line-quotting!! no, i love the movie... way funny... i find myself telling people i know to watch it, it`s hilairous!!! it`s also a tripp to put the sub-titles on, and see the unknown words that they use! lastly... in my opinion, i applaud the directors and what-not (forget at the moment who they are) for making such a funny/good movie without any swearing, nudity, drugs/alcohol, heavy violence. good movie... i suggest that everyone watch it several times, and quote it alot to spead the wealth and humor!! bow to your sensei... I was annoyed from the beginning. There was only one line that I actually liked, which was at the beginning. I don't think in any way was the film even good. Not to mention the fact I couldn't walk anywhere in my school last year without hearing people quote the damned thing or wear a Vote for Pedro knock off. I'd rather watch this one ten times in a row than watch any of the oh so great hollywood comedies like scary movie and stuff like that.
