I like the idea behind this movie. It wasn't presented very well, though. Very dull. The deleted scences were awesome, though.

and to be honest. . .it's not really about anything. . .it has some plot. . .but i think the eccentric characters make up for the lack of plot. . .

diedrich bader was awesome. . .i love that guy. . .

i also appreciate the small town images and feel. . .growing up in a town with a population of 415 myself. . .

I think that this is probably the best movie made this year. I thought it was well done for being made on a very small salary. But I agree it has no real plot, just about 3 small ones. Uncle trying to go back in time to become star football player, Napoleon trying to get people to think he's cool, and Pedro trying to be elected.

first time i tried to watch this movie, i didn`t even finish it... couldn`t stand the lack of plot and what-not, bad story, the awkward characters and so-on. but, the second and third time i saw it, i couldn`t help but laugh myself retarded!! and, the fact that people that i work with kept quoting lines, i couldn`t help but watch it again and again in order to keep up with the line-quotting!! no, i love the movie... way funny... i find myself telling people i know to watch it, it`s hilairous!!! it`s also a tripp to put the sub-titles on, and see the unknown words that they use! lastly... in my opinion, i applaud the directors and what-not (forget at the moment who they are) for making such a funny/good movie without any swearing, nudity, drugs/alcohol, heavy violence. good movie... i suggest that everyone watch it several times, and quote it alot to spead the wealth and humor!! bow to your sensei... BOW TO YOUR SENSEI (hilairous!!!)

I thought this movie was so funny, and his dramatic answers were histerical! and the moon boots, I almost died laughing everytime!

Wow, I thought it was horrible. I was annoyed from the beginning. There was only one line that I actually liked, which was at the beginning. I don't think in any way was the film even good.

Not to mention the fact I couldn't walk anywhere in my school last year without hearing people quote the damned thing or wear a Vote for Pedro knock off. How cool.

This movie wasn't made to be taken too seriously. Personally, I think it's hilarious but peple are entitled to their opinions.
I'd rather watch this one ten times in a row than watch any of the oh so great hollywood comedies like scary movie and stuff like that. I love the way this movie is stripped down to a point where the silence is what kills you as a viewer. And yes, I've got the t-shirt. Actually I have two. :-)

And it's hilarious when you see Pedro when he was sick, take a bath with his medal on... Those are but two funny parts in a hysterical movie.
