Discussion: Mists Of Avalon

I've seen many different forms of this movie and I have to say this was the best. In one of the forms of this movie first of all there was no high maridge thing. Morgaine had herface magically changed from being a totally ugly person to beautiful person, then fooling King Aurther into having sex with her. Second her name wasn't Morgaine it was Morgan. And everything else was totally different. There were so many differences you have to watch the movie (Merlin). Well this form of this movie was much much better and Hans Mathisan is so Hotttt. ;)

The Mists weaves the Aurthurian story within traditional pagan fairytales of such, and is told from a feminine perspective...that of MorgaineLaFey (or Morgaine of the Fairies). Here unlike there, Morgaine is not the evil witch of so many christian stories, but rather a sweet one who is of the old fairy blood, possessing the gift of psyche, and is trained in the arts of healing amongst other mysteries. Avalon could perhaps be a metaphor for Ireland to the Britons in a literal sense...or could it represent a peaceful place within ourselves where all is known and dreams do come true, if only we care to cross those misty waters. ;}

i think the way they told this story was kind of messed up, but very original. the spin they put on it was one for the record books. i have a Q. though, can anybody tell me what kind of dog Morgan's step-father had when he first appeared in the movie? i saw those dogs and now i want one, but i don't know the name of the breed.
