Discussion: Man From Earth it was what I'd been hoping it would be. Story, point, and message, but absent all of the extraneous dreck that's so often part of picture in order to sell it. It expresses a message that I've been pondering for 20 years or more, but had been luckless when it came to putting thought into word. It's hard to talk about this movie in the same way that it's hard to describe the ocean to someone who hasn't seen anything bigger than a large pond.
