Hellraiser

This is the greatest movie ever. Its nice to have a horror movie with a decent plot for a change!

Strangely, this seemingly run-off-the-mill cheesy horror seems to be making a name for itself once again as a 'cult-classic'.
Clive Barker's wonderfully dark imagery translates very well into film.
Because I live in the UK, I've only seen the five film released here (there are eight in existence) and found the fifth to be very stylistically different from the first four. Unlike many die-hard Hellraiser fans i did not detest it for this though, if anything I enjoyed the further development of the imagery and mythos of Pinhead, everyone's favourite 'Angel of Sufferring'

only watch the first 2 films. don't bother with the rest. the third is tolerable, but only for hardcore fans. clive barker will tell you that himself.
