very real portrayal of japanese war, felt like i was watching a real movie and not a cartoon..great movie, a must to watch. very sad indeed....got me all choked up.

then i went to sleep

now i am happy, unless i think about the movie

A fantastic reality of what actually took place in Japan during the last days of the second world war. Undoubtably one of the best anime genre films ever made, especially considering the fact that you forget it is even animated.

A must watch for anyone whether you enjoy animation or not.

I didnt cry cuz i had these two other guys sitting next to me... but if they werent there..... my living room would be a salty swimming pool
