Setting: good Costumes: good Historical accuracy: no idea cos i'm dumb Acting: waaaaaaaaaaaay damn good Joaquin Phoenix: a chocolate-covered pretzel who looks all broody and dark and tortured and not obviously good-looking but somewhat sexy Russel Crowe: a guy in a skirt with a sword who fights well Proximus: teehee Commodus/Maximus slash: so obviously there

the fact that it was not historically accurate based on roman history is the part i did not like while the costumes were good they were not accurate the uniform the romans wore in the ring looked a lot different but i applaud them they did get the weapons right
saw your bio page Maz i dont know how you can stay that cheerful when the world is going to shit but to each his own
