Hey I really really loved this movie...the turns and twists are something else...what I was wonedering was what was the motivation for Jack Shepard to kill all those women...was it supposed top be a big buildup to killing his own mother? Anybody know?

This is one of my favorite movies, it's so creative! To SteveD, that wasn't really explained, but if you recall, John learned that she was the first murder, not the last. That's why he changed his M.O. so they woudn't look so close at family members.
I thought this was one of the best movies made in a long time. The entire cast was great, the plots twists were phemomenal. I just loved it.
