What was the music played during Sean Connery's bike riding scene?

I want to find out who sings the song at the end of the movie while the credits are running "over the rainbow"

>>By Big John

The End Track to Finding Forester is "Over the Rainbow" by Bill Trisell

>>By Lensman

The last song is a combination of "Over the Rainbow" and "What a Wonderful World" and is sung by a Hawaiian singer named Israel (or Iz for short). Not sure how to spell the last name. Fantastic voice.

Was I the only one who noticed Jonathan Brandis as an extra in the end when William is reading Jamal's letter?! He's in the audience as a classmate listening. I've searched all over to see if it was really him but no one seems to know, and no websites have been able to help me. So, if anyone can verify if it is him or not, help me out. Thanks!

the song over the rainbow was indeed sung by IZ and the title of that album is "Alone in IZ World". It is an unplugged version of the song and was also played in the final espisode of ER the popular TV show. This version was NOT sung by Bill Trisell.

Does anyone wkonw where I can buy the total songs innthe movie? I bought the soundtrack and none of the songs are on that!!
Help

>>By Jannie

The movie was so great. Its one of my favorites now, Michael was so hoooooot, behind words.

>>By vikster

Jannie: At the end of each movie, the producers must disclose to the viewer any and all songs that were used to help make the movie. So if the soundtrack does not have what you are looking for then wait until the end of the movie and read the credits. All songs that were used in the movie will be shown. It doesn't mean the song will be on the soundtrack, but rather played in the movie. I am assuming that this is what you mean by "total" songs. Good Luck.

Most of the time when they portray a movie star with an illness, it's because he has it. Therefore letting the public down easy should he pass in real life. ei: John Wayne; Six Pack or Little Cowboys. What do you think?

>>By venus1

"Finding Forester" was an excellent movie. Well put together. I too especially loved the last track of the movie....by Bill Trisell. He has a very unique voice and it helps to close this movie with the feeling of hope. It also inspires us to discover the best in other people, even if they are "different" from us, and experience the fulfillment it brings.

I just wanted know if the music during one or more scenes was from miles davis's bitches brew sessions. It sounds quite familiar and I wasn't certain.

The music for xylophone used should have been attributed to Gunild Keetman and Carl Orff but seems to be conspicuously unmentioned. It is part of the famous Schulwerk - Vier stucke fur xylophon.

Somewhere Over the Rainbow/What a Wonderful World is by "IZ", Israel Kamakawiwo'ole, recorded first (I was told) on Facing Future, 1993 Bigboy Record Ccompany, distributed by Mountain Apple Company.

Where canu get that cd from the over the rainbow song? Finding Forrester was a great movie. I gave a strong message about moral values and whatever happens to stay wit our dreams. You can do anything you want to do, just set ur mind to it. One of the great phraises that this movie has spread out to who ever watches it. Great movie.

I think that is a movie that ,theached you a lot of thighs of the wolrd

This film is so great! And I love the songs that have been used, thanks to everyone who knew about the last song. A lot of shows have been using it. Now I know the singer and it would be easier to find. Thanks a lot :)

While well done, this movie was a rip off of "Good Will Hunting." Same director and everything. A super smart street kid needs the mentoring of a savvy, worldly scholar who checked out on life after the death of someone close to them, and who themselves are re-invigorated by the kid they are trying to help.

i have to write a paper on Finding Forester, it has to be about a phycological illness, i was just wondering if anyone had any advice for me about what to say and if William would be the best charater to write it about.

>>By Sarah

The illness Forrester has is Agoraphobia: the fear of leaving your house and/or socializing...uhm, what is the name of the book he leaves to Jamal at the end?
