| Discussion: Dr. Zhivago Has a special place in my heart because it was the first classic movie I saw when I was a teenager. I just finished watching it once again and can share characters' feelings more deeply. I read somewhere that the movie was pounced on by critics when it was released in 1960's because of overwhelmingly beautiful manipulation of sceneries and lack of focus and absence of political content, etc. Well...for myself, I enjoyed every second of the movie. I don't mind the movie focusing more on capricious human feelings and relationships, and I alsolutely loved the movie's marvelous scenes enabled by camera techniques! Most of all, the movie does a really good job at conveying the disorder and uncertainties of the revolutionary era.
