| Discussion: Cyclo i think it's violence and i don't understand very much i study international film subject and i have an exam on this sunday about this movies anyone help me please >>By mai It was a movie about the life on the streets of Vietnam. I think there is an interesting color theme going on that showed up in several places. For instance, the white shirt of our main character cyclo rider and white underwear of the his sister showing their purity. After the death of the sibling with mental disablility, the brother paints himself blue (perhaps sadness or depression) and the girl is shown later wearing black. The color red in the blood and other places also arises as important. For instance the scene where the brother is shown a man being killed by the gang, and his red blood squirting on the wall and dripping down. I hope this helps.
