John Malkeovich is amazing in this film. His Charachter "Syrus the Virus" is so Charismatic, he makes him seem so mennacing yet u dont want him to die in the end! I'm not a big Nicholas Cage Fan but i enjoyed him in this film althiugh the oul' country boy accent was a bit irritating! Surprisingly i thought John Cusack didn't do his acting justice in this film. My favourite part of the movie is when Cameron asks the old guy in the abandoned airfield where the syringes are and he replies "Aw, Son Don't be doin grugs". Very funny Shit. Overall a good Action Film but the whole Airplane Crash on the Strip in Las Vegas was too unbelievable. But Sweet home Alabama was a great song and was used wisely in the film. Before i forget, Steve Buschemi must also be noted for his Excellent Portrayal of the Psychopath (I can't remember his name now) Notice how he escaped in the End of the film. Perhaps leaving room 4 a sequel? That'd be sweet!

Favourite Quote: i personally love when the airplane crashes and all the cons get off it, a guy in the desert is just about to give out to them but sees their prisoners and just runs the opposite way. Syrus says "i hope he likes sand"........classic!

class movie, nic cage was brilliant in this film and John Malkeovich, well this was one of his best roles. the fight scenes was great and the gun battle at the airport was brill, and i love the end scene with Steve Buscemi "Garland 'The Marietta Mangler' Greene" when the dealer asks...
Garland's Craps Dealer: New shooter! Does the new shooter feel lucky? Well, does he? Garland Greene: Yes... yes he does. then the music "sweet home Alabama" what a finish to a movie... classic
didnt like the way syrus died, i didnt want him to die he was so kool!!!

Load of crap, typical hollywood shite with big fireball explosions !!
purile rubbish!!
>>By BushisaManiac
ahhh no dont say that... fair enough it was pure 100% american trivaa but we need that once in a while or we will just go mad....
>>By zeromenace
well seeing as you put it like that zero, then I can see your point of view, and i must admit there were some good performances by certain actors, Nick Cage not being one of them though!!
>>By BushisaManiac
one of the worst movies i've ever seen. even hollywood can do much much better.
>>By piaf
oh come on the movie was ace! Fair enough it lacked substance but it was visually impressive. Sometimes it's good just to switch your brain off and just enjoy it for what it is- a big ballsy action adventure with explosions and witty one liners a plenty. In my opinion the film was very self-conciously tongue in cheek...I don't think it was intended to be a serious film.
